Report of the Jury (April 6, 1991)
Considering that the Professor Jean-Marie ANDRE
acquired an international reputation in the field of the electronic

that thus, it contributed to the radiation of science;
considering the international impact of its work materialized since its
thesis of doctorate by a great number of publications in international
periodicals of very high level;
also considering its constant worry to integrate various scientific
disciplines thus showing the width of the culture as of its ideas, which
are guarantors of the development of science;
considering that its work presents at the same time a character
fundamental and applied giving place to developments in the field of
physical chemistry like industrial techniques;
decide to award the Prize Francqui 1991 to Mr Jean-Marie ANDRE,
Professor at the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix-Namur.
